Open Mic

I’m going to a café tonight,

Located in downtown Renton.

I’ve always had a mild case of stage fright,

But this time will be different.

The patrons there are all taking part,

Either listening to, or speaking, their art.

Therefore, I am excited to share, speaking aloud from the heart.
